Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Perth is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift, including some weekends. The role is fixed term (9 months) with 30 hours per week and a starting hourly rate of £13.68, plus overtime.

Training and the iconic red van are provided, with full driving licence required. You’ll work across a 30-hour week, with a rotating schedule and a mix of office and outdoor duties, delivering in your local area and engaging with customers

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weathers.
