Job summary

Royal Mail in Neston is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver (Postie) for a fixed-term role. The job involves delivering letters and parcels in the local area, with duties including sorting at the delivery office, and working outdoors in all weather. You’ll join a flexible rota with weekend shifts and a the possibility of overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass a driving assessment for Royal Mail van.
• Physically able to walk long distances and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good organisation and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
