Job summary

Royal Mail Aldershot delivers letters and parcels across ALDERSHOT. Join as a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a permanent contract, with rotating shifts and weekend work.

You’ll walk and drive, deliver in your local area, and build relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weathers. Training is provided, a full manual UK driving licence is required, and you’ll be rewarded with competitive pay (£13.68/hour, 37 hours/week) and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and capable of long walks and lifting mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated in a busy outdoor role.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a delivery environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weathers.
• Handle high volumes and maintain accurate delivery routes.
