Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Lydney. You will work a 30-hour week with a rotating schedule, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot across the local area. Training is provided, and you’ll join a team that serves the community in all weather conditions.

The role is physically demanding, with weekend work and occasional Sunday shifts. You will be expected to stay active, build relationships with customers, and work independently on your rota.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
