Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Leyburn to deliver letters and parcels on a 28-hour week rota. You’ll work outdoors, across a daily van and on-foot delivery in the local area, building relationships with customers.

Full training is provided, with a uniform and a supportive pension, wellbeing services, and MyBundle+ discounts. A role that keeps you active, connected to the community, and offers routine with variety.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, stairs and hills.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
