Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a Postie in Chorley to deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift, including Sundays. You’ll sort mail at the delivery office, walk or drive a Royal Mail van, and build relationships with customers on your route.

The role is outdoors in all weather, demanding pace and accuracy. Training, uniform, and the iconic red van are provided; you’ll join a trusted service with pension and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) and ability to drive a Royal Mail van.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift items.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation and resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
