Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Bangor is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term 6-month contract at LL57 2TZ. The role involves delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, on a rotating shift including weekends, with about 30 hours per week and shifts around 07:05–15:35. Salary is £13.68 per hour with paid overtime.

You will receive full training, a uniform, and a red Royal Mail van. A full manual UK driving licence (up to six penalty points) and fitness to walk long distances

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) is required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, and lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
