Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Blandford Forum is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, deliver by van and on foot in your local area, and build relationships with customers.

Expect rotating shifts, weekends, outdoor work in all weather, and full training plus a uniform and a red van. You must have a full UK manual driving licence and be physically fit to cover long routes.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
