Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels from the Fulham Delivery Office, in a fixed term contract for 9 months. The role involves 37 hours per week, 7-day shift patterns, and Sundays at Fulham, with a rotating schedule that may include weekends.

You will walk long distances and drive a Royal Mail van daily, delivering items in all weather. Training, a uniform, and a red van are provided, with overtime opportunities and optional shift variations.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
