Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join the team in Duns. You’ll deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, building customer relationships and working outdoors in all weather. The role includes a rotating shift schedule, weekends, and full training with a uniform and daily responsibilities.

The position requires a full manual UK driving licence, reliability, and the ability to stay active and connected with the community while meeting demanding timelines.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, and lifting/carrying 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
