Job summary

Royal Mail Group in March is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. You will sort mail, deliver by van and on foot, and build strong relationships with customers while working outdoors across a 37-hour week on a rotating schedule. A full UK driving licence and fitness for walking long distances are essential.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation and resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
