Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Hamilton is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, work outdoors in all weather, and build relationships with customers in your local area.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to pass a driving assessment. Expect a rotating shift pattern, some weekends, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated and customer-focused

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather
• Deliver high volumes of parcels during peak periods
