Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Post Person with Driving in the delivery network. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, driving a delivery van and delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

You will complete routes on foot as required, handle election materials and restricted items according to business standards, and stay active throughout your shift. This temporary role offers potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of Royal Mail rounds.
• Drive and walk routes, ensuring items reach destinations safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain restricted items per standards.
