Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Inverness is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift, including weekends. The role is fixed-term for 9 months, with 37 hours per week and a starting pay of £13.68 per hour with paid overtime.

You will sort mail, drive a Royal Mail van, walk in your local area, and build relationships with customers. Full training, a uniform, and the iconic red van are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (min 6 points) and ability to pass driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weather.
