Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Stirling is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role is 30 hours per week with a rotating shift, including some weekends, and a pay rate of £13.68 per hour plus overtime. Training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van are provided.

You will sort mail, deliver by van and on foot, and engage with customers on your route. The job is outdoors across all weather conditions and requires reliability and good organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in Stirling.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
