Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an experienced SC/DV-cleared Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a London-based hybrid role. You will design, implement and support secure Microsoft infrastructure across complex enterprise environments, focusing on identity, security, automation and operations.

Active clearance is required, with 2–3 days onsite per week. The contract spans 6 months with a daily rate up to £625 outside IR35.

Qualifications

SC/DV Cleared Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: London - 2-3 days per week onsite
Rate: Up to £625 per day, Outside IR35

Clearance: Active SC or DV Clearance required

I’m looking for an experienced, security-focussed SeniorInfrastructure Engineerto design, implement and support secure Microsoft infrastructure across complex enterprise environments.

This is a hands-on role focused on Microsoft infrastructure, identity, security, automation and operational support, with involvement across the full lifecycle of technical projects.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive Active Directory experience, including domains, trusts and identity management
• Strong experience with PKI and certificate services
• Hands-on PowerShell and Ansible automation experience
• Experience designing and supporting secure Microsoft infrastructure services
• Knowledge of identity, authentication and privileged access management (PAM)
• Experience with security monitoring, SIEM and logging
• Experience supporting Exchange / Exchange Online, DNS and core infrastructure services
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and security environments
• Experience producing technical documentation, implementation plans and operational procedures
• Experience working through the full project lifecycle, from requirements and design through to implementation and transition into service

Highly Desirable Experience

• Python and automation/tooling development
• CyberArk or other PAM technologies
• DLP and security hardening
• SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS and proxy services
• Experience working within regulated, public sector or security-conscious environments
