Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a diligent Delivery Driver to join the Millom Delivery Office. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local route, in a Royal Mail van and on foot, while upholding safety and service standards in the community.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points), good physical fitness for walking 20,000 steps daily, and flexibility to work varying shifts. A driving assessment will be completed on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability to short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your local route, on foot and in a Royal Mail van.
• Ensure secure handling and accurate delivery to every destination.
• Represent Royal Mail in the community and provide reliable, friendly service.
