Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) delivery drivers in Caerphilly, Wales. As a Post Person with Driving you’ll deliver letters and parcels in your community, combining driving with on-foot delivery across routes. This is a dynamic, outdoor role supporting local residents and businesses.

Applicants need a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) and must be prepared to walk 20,000 steps daily; a driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps per day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of Royal Mail rounds, on foot and by van.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with business standards.
