Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a flexible Delivery Driver in Bridgwater to deliver letters and parcels across your route. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot, staying active throughout the day.

Applicants must hold a full, manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and be able to walk long distances with a mailbag weighing up to 16kg. Shifts vary, and driving assessments are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you need to be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to your delivery area, in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and deliver items on your route, with some parts completed on foot.
• Securely deliver all items, including election materials and regulated items, following Royal Mail standards.
