Avalon Group is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers in Skipton to help two gentlemen with autism and learning disabilities live meaningful, person-centered lives. You’ll join a friendly team providing tailored, compassionate care and community-based activities, with opportunities for training and advancement.

We offer varied shifts (days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers) and a supportive environment focused on independence, safety, and wellbeing.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Providing person-centred support tailored to two individuals, sometimes 2:1 with another worker.
• Promoting independence and active, fulfilling lives.
• Providing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) per individual plans.
• Supporting with personal care and medication administration.
• Assisting with activities: swimming, walking, visiting places of interest, train journeys and social events.
• Staying physically fit and able to walk long distances as part of an active lifestyle.
• Promoting dignity, choice, inclusion and independence daily.
