Actemium Automation 24/7 Support in Warrington is hiring an Automation Support Engineer to keep PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems running across the UK. You will provide on-site and remote support, handle fault finding, and implement system changes with an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential automation support to maintain system integrity during breakdowns and installations.
• Troubleshoot faults and identify root causes.

• Conduct health checks on PLC, HMI, SCADA and networks.
• Provide remote and on-site customer support across the UK.
• Join the on-call rota with out-of-hours coverage.

What You'll Do

As part of our growing team, you'll be at the heart of providing top-tier automation support across the UK. Your expertise will help keep our PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems running smoothly, ensuring clients get the best possible service.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Automation Support: Deliver essential support to maintain system integrity during breakdowns and installation.

• Fault Finding: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using your expertise to follow logic and find the root cause.

• System Modifications: Collaborate with clients to define and implement system changes, keeping their operations seamless.

• Health Checks: Regularly check on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Customer Support: Provide both remote and on-site support, assisting customers across the UK.

• On-Call Rota: Be part of the out-of-hours support rota, with flexibility to work around your personal schedule.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who:

• PLC Programming & Fault Finding Experience: You have hands-on experience working with PLC systems and diagnosing complex issues.

• Multibrand Expertise: You’re comfortable working across various PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, and quick to pick up new ones.

• Problem-Solving Skills: You’re methodical in your approach, listening carefully to client needs and resolving issues efficiently.
