Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking an experienced Multi-Site Catering Supervisor to provide catering cover across our schools during staff absence and vacancies. The role involves leading catering teams across sites, managing food preparation, service, and compliance with safety standards.

You will oversee stock, ordering, and budgeting, while maintaining high standards of customer service and efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a catering, kitchen, or food preparation environment.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and food safety legislation.
• Organised and able to manage stock, ordering, and budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and support a team to deliver an outstanding service.
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Organise, supervise, and support Catering Assistants in daily duties.
• Prepare, cook, and service meals to a high standard.
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources within the catering operation.
• Order food supplies, check deliveries, and store food items properly.
• Monitor food production to meet recipes, portion sizes, and nutritional guidelines.
• Ensure prompt and efficient service of meals, refreshments, and special functions.
