The Vella Group is seeking an Integration Finance Lead to direct the financial and operational migration of newly acquired companies into the group. You will align accounting systems, standardise KPIs and identify synergies to support ambitious growth.

The role requires coordinating with M&A, leading data integration, and delivering consolidated reporting while travelling to targets and maintaining hybrid UK presence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of business taxes and HMRC compliance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions quickly, think pragmatically and prioritise work effectively.
• Some experience in an operational role or acquisition integration would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the motor industry desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Develop a structured integration plan for all newly acquired entities; liaise with M&A to understand targets.
• Perform GAP analysis to identify initial risks and establish priorities.
• Secure visibility over cash and conduct financial risk assessment.
• Conduct post-acquisition site visits to assess the capabilities of the acquired finance team.
• Drive the transition of legacy financial data and align COA and reporting policies to the group.
• Lead alignment of transaction workflows, especially around revenue recognition, billing and purchasing.
• Produce monthly management accounts for acquired entities during transition and consolidate into group reporting.
• Manage banking relationships, payrolls and taxes; support initial acquisition budgets.
• Facilitate monthly reporting handover into BAU teams; manage stakeholder expectations.
