Job summary

The Vella Group, one of the UK's fastest-growing accident repair businesses, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join Head Office Finance. You will deliver monthly management accounts, support group consolidations, tax compliance and cash flow reporting while partnering with cost centres across the group.

The role requires fully qualified accounting credentials (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and strong UK GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Strong, current knowledge of UK accounting standards and awareness of HMRC regulations.
• Experience of group accounting or working in a multi-entity environment would be advantageous.
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for Head Office and Holdcos; review costs and variance analysis.
• Support group reporting, consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT and corporation tax compliance and liaise with external advisors.
• Maintain rolling 13-week cash flow forecasting and covenant reporting.
• Contribute to ad hoc reporting and projects for CFO/GFC.
