Planet is seeking an experienced Payments Engineer to join our London team, focusing on acquiring and card scheme compliance. You will guide technical direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant payment solutions.

The ideal candidate holds 5+ years in a similar role, a Business/IT/Finance degree, and strong analytical and communication skills for a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working experience in a similar role.
• Hold a third level Business, IT or Finance degree (or equivalent).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and technical direction for acquiring and card scheme projects.
• Analyze card scheme requirements and specifications.
• Track certified card scheme products/services.
• Participate in card scheme compliance article and bulleting review processes.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Scrum Masters and Support Teams across regions.
• Deliver and present clear documented solutions for use by other domains.
