A leading technology firm is seeking a Payments Manager to oversee card acceptance for clients. This role involves managing technical communications, resolving payment issues, and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have extensive payments experience and strong problem-solving skills, with the role being hybrid, requiring only one day a week in the office.
Payments Manager – Card Acceptance – 12 month contract
London/Hybrid
Our client is looking for a Technical Acceptance Manager with good payments experience in card schemes or acquiring.
You will be working in the global team responsible for leading and supervising all related technical card acceptance enablement activities as part of their assigned countries, leveraging a strong trend and root cause analysis approach, while orchestrating the required support from specialised partnering teams to achieve successful remediation and country acceptance health targets.
You will have a portfolio of clients to manage.
This role requires payments knowledge in the financial services industry, ideally from a scheme, or an acquiring background in the card payments acceptance or acceptance related field, ensuring smooth and consistent deliveries, while understanding and fixing technical problems raised during payment checkout at POS terminals and ecommerce websites.
To suit you will be independent, have good problem solving skills and excellent communication skills in terms of client relationship.
Contract Length: 12 months
Role is hybrid with majority of time remote maybe 1 day a week in office. Client flexible depending on circumstances
