Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking Acoustic Logging Technicians to join our field team. You will work outdoors across the water network, deploying and collecting acoustic logging devices and recording noise samples.

No previous acoustic logging experience is required as full training will be provided. Applicants should be reliable, proactive, and comfortable with physical tasks and flexible hours, including occasional night work.

Qualifications

• Must have basic IT, maths and English skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Locate water main fittings across the network.
• Deploy and collect acoustic logging devices.
• Record and analyse noise samples using equipment.
• Document activities using company systems and processes.
• Meet targets, including deploying and collecting at least 80 loggers per day.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Safely handle equipment including lifting and replacing manhole covers.
