Job summary

Montu UK is seeking an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician for its Winnersh (Reading) site. You will ensure every medicine leaving the pharmacy is correct, leading accuracy checks and upholding high standards to protect patient safety.

Relocation support is offered for candidates moving to within commutable distance. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance and professional development.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC is required.
• Experience in accuracy checking and dispensing processes.
• Solid knowledge of pharmacy regulations, SOPs and policies.
• Attention to detail and accountability in clinical care.
• Proactive communication and independent task ownership.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines in a compliant manner.
• Own end-to-end dispensing process and escalate discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain clear prescription records and mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to a culture focused on safety and quality.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
