Job summary

Pertemps Medical Milton Keynes is seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to work onsite at a busy fulfilment centre. The role requires completing prescriptions against protocol, using an EHR system, and ensuring safe, accurate dispatch with confidential handling of patient data.

Shifts run day and night, seven days a week with a mix of ADHOC and regular patterns. Ongoing work with competitive hourly rates and ongoing professional development is offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold ACT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team, ensuring all requirements are met for safe supply.
• Use the secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
• Check prepared medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.
• Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.
• Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalating issues as needed.
• Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.
• Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.
