Job summary

Pertemps Medical Milton Keynes is seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) who must hold the ACT qualification. Start ASAP for an ongoing role with ADHOC and regular shifts, including day and night coverage.

You will check prescriptions against Medical Team protocols, use the EHR system, and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely dispatch while maintaining patient confidentiality. Ongoing training and registration upkeep are expected.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check prescriptions against Medical Team protocols for safe supply.
• Use our EHR system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
• Check prepared medications and liaise with warehouse for timely dispatch.
• Record concise, accurate notes in patient records as required.
• Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalation.
• Engage in team training and meetings on procedures and best practices.
• Maintain professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.
