Job summary

Pertemps Medical is seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our onsite online pharmacy fulfilment centre. The role requires ACT qualification and involves day and night shifts on an ADHOC or regular basis.

Shifts run 7 days a week with day shifts 10am-10pm and nights 10pm-8am. Start date is ASAP and duties include prescription checks, EHR processing, liaison with warehouse, and maintaining patient records.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team.
• Use secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
• Check prepared medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.
• Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.
• Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalate issues as needed.
• Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.
• Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.

Job Role

We have a flexible shift job available with day shifts and night shifts available on an ADHOC or regular basis.

This role is working onsite for an online pharmacy fulfilment centre operating a 7 days per week.

Day shifts are available any day of the week, and night shifts 4 nights per week, Monday-Thursday.

Duties to include:

• Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team, ensuring all requirements are met for safe supply.
• Use our secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
• Check prepared medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.
• Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.
• Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and **escalate** issues as needed.
• Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.
• Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.
