Job summary

Montu UK is building a modern, technology-enabled online pharmacy in Winnersh. You will be the Accuracy Checking Dispenser (ACD), performing the final accuracy check on all dispensed prescriptions to ensure they are correct and safe for patients.

You will work with the pharmacy team to maintain compliant records, escalate discrepancies, and support quality improvements while upholding regulatory standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Accredited accuracy checking qualification recognised for dispensing practice.
• Significant experience in a pharmacy environment with final accuracy checks.
• Strong knowledge of dispensing processes, SOPs, governance and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the final accuracy check on dispensed medicines before supply.
• Verify patient, medicine, strength, formulation, quantity and directions.
• Maintain auditable records of all checks performed and escalate discrepancies.
• Support safe handling of controlled and high-risk medicines per policy.
• Collaborate with dispensers and pharmacists while maintaining independence at check.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and process improvements.
