Job Summary:

Company: Festival Republic

Location: Farringdon, London

Reports to: Senior Accreditation Manager

Contract Type: Fixed Term, June – August 2025 (3 Months)

Working hours: Full Time, 10.00am -18.00pm plus evenings and weekends onsite.

Role Description

The successful applicant will work within a team of 8 to help implement and manage the pass systems used across festivals, as well as lead the on-site accreditation operation at one of our UK shows.

Full training on the specifics of the role will be given to the correct candidate; however, an understanding of event accreditation systems along with a proven ability to complete basic administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner are both essential.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the accreditation operation at one of our UK shows.
  • Liaising with the Senior Accreditation Manager and Event Manager in advance to ensure all production requirements are met.
  • Working with internal departments and external contractors to set up and use an online accreditation system, both in advance of the shows as well as on-site.
  • Managing a team on site, ensuring all processes and procedures are being followed correctly.
  • Responsible for coordinating the flow of passes in and out, i.e. checking passes when they come from the suppliers, repackaging and forwarding to the on-site offices, maintaining clear records of where passes are at all times, being aware of when deliveries are arriving and when passes are required at various events.
  • Assist in producing security accreditation sample sheets using PowerPoint
  • Responsible for secure logging, storage, and handling of high value items
  • Keeping and sharing accurate and up to date records of passes issued to different departments.
  • Where possible, working at other UK Festivals with the on-site passes teams (in a non-managerial role), dealing with staff and public in a polite, helpful and appropriate manner to reflect the high standards of the festival and this department.

Requirements, Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets and Outlook Express.
  • Ability to understand and learn new technology and online systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent written English and grammar.

Desired

  • Understanding of event accreditation structures.
  • Experience in the Festival industry.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
