Puro Associates in Hexham is seeking a Semi-Senior Accounts to join an established independent practice on a full-time basis. Hybrid working is available after a 6-month probation, and you will manage a varied portfolio across accounts, bookkeeping and tax for a diverse client base.

The role welcomes candidates at different career stages and supports ACA/ACCA progression where appropriate, with a competitive salary up to £35,000 plus benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Solid experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience across accounts and tax, with a preference for trust tax returns.
• Experience with Digita would be advantageous, though not essential.
• ACA/ACCA qualification not mandatory; practical experience and ambition to develop are valued.

Aufgaben

• Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients.
• Accounts preparation and bookkeeping.
• Preparing sole trader accounts and tax returns.
• Preparing limited company tax computations and returns.
• Preparing personal tax returns.
• Direct client work and day-to-day query handling.
• Assisting with more complex tax work, including trust tax returns.
