Job summary

Puro Associates is seeking an Accounts Senior for their Camberley client portfolio. This full-time, office-based role offers hybrid flexibility and a proactive TOIL system, with salary up to £40,000 (DOE).

You will prepare statutory and annual accounts, manage tax computations, and support SMEs and limited companies in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102). The ideal candidate recently qualified ACA or ACCA, with strong knowledge of Xero, Sage Line 50 and Excel, and a proven ability to mentor junior

Qualifications

• Recently qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Experience in public practice desirable.
• Strong experience preparing statutory and annual accounts for SMEs and limited companies.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP, particularly FRS 102.
• Experience preparing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns.
• Experience reviewing junior staff work and providing guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and annual accounts for SMEs and limited companies.
• Prepare accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• Draft corporation tax computations and CT600 returns.
• Create year-end accounting files with supporting schedules.
• Mentor juniors and support their development.
• Delegate tasks and oversee junior staff where appropriate.
• Assist with improving internal processes and client reporting.
