Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an Accounts Senior in Stevenage for a growing independent Practice. You will handle year-end accounts, tax returns, VAT, and management accounts for a diverse client base in a supportive, cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must have AAT qualification or equivalent with practice experience.
• Experience preparing year-end accounts for varied client types.
• Comfortable with corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT work.
• Proficient with Xero and cloud accounting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Prepare corporation and personal tax returns and VAT submissions.
• Prepare and review management accounts and client records.
• Liaise with HMRC/Companies House when required.
• Assist junior staff and manage own workload to deadlines.
• Support clients directly and ensure accuracy in cloud systems.

Education

AAT Qualification (or equivalent)

ACA/ACCA part-qualified

Strong tax and VAT exposure
