Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join its Nantwich team. You will manage a varied client portfolio within a growing independent practice, delivering high-quality accounts work and building strong client relationships.

The role offers flexible and hybrid working, with clear progression opportunities and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment. Experience in practice and cloud accounting knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification.
• Strong accounts preparation experience.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
• Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Assisting with client meetings and advisory projects
