Job summary

TC Group, a growing Top 20 UK accountancy firm, is seeking an Accounts and Tax Senior for their Stanley or Ferryhill team. The role offers a blend of accounts and tax work, with the chance to own a varied workload and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• AAT and/or ATT qualification, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Experience in accounts and tax work, 3+ years preferred.
• Strong organisation, meeting deadlines and prioritising work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns and personal tax returns.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Identify issues, resolve queries and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Proactively obtain information from clients and provide updates.
