TC Group is a fast-growing UK accountancy firm seeking a Tax Assistant for its Stanley or Ferryhill team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The role offers hybrid and flexible working after probation, with 35 hours per week and 25 days holiday plus benefits.

You will support high-quality tax compliance across personal and corporate matters, develop technical skills, and advance your career within a collaborative team. ATT progress and CCH familiarity are valuable.

Formación

• At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing personal tax and/or corporate tax compliance work.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication, relationship-building and client service skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving, written and numeracy skills, with high ethical standards.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; experience using CCH would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing Personal Tax Returns for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Assisting with the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns.
• Supporting the completion and submission of P11D forms.
• Undertaking Company Secretarial work and maintaining statutory records.
• Providing administrative and compliance support to the tax team while ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
