TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Maidstone chartered accountancy practice seeking an Accounts & Tax Manager with partnership potential. You will manage your own portfolio and a small team, and work closely with Partners on owner-managed businesses.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience.
• 5–10+ years' accountancy practice experience.
• Experience preparing accounts and tax returns; knowledge of QB/Xero/Sage beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.
• Oversee and review production of accounts, financial statements, corporation tax and personal tax.
• Build strong relationships across teams and with managers.
• Liaise regularly with clients to maintain trusted partnerships.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of work.
• Collaborate with partners to run the business smoothly.
• Participate in business development/marketing when needed.
• Opportunity to get involved with audit work if of interest.
