Job summary

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Maidstone for a Senior Manager to join their growing team. You will oversee owner‑managed businesses, Ltds, partnerships and high‑net-worth individuals, with a focus on accounts, tax and strategic planning.

The firm offers autonomy, progression and a supportive environment, with hybrid working and a strong client base across Kent.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified.
• Significant experience gained within accountancy practice.
• Currently operating at Manager or Senior Manager level.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Hybrid and flexible working arrangements with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns.
• Providing commercial advice and support to clients.
• Managing and mentoring a team of accountants and managers.
• Supporting business development activities within the existing client base.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships and strategic planning.
• Working with Partners on practice management and operational matters.
