This accountancy practice offers a great work-life balance and a family-oriented working environment. You will work across accounts, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, and CIS, supported by a small but experienced team. You will serve as the first point of contact for client queries, managing a diverse client portfolio including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing a client portfolio including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individuals.
2. Overseeing all aspects of client service delivery such as preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS.
3. Liaising with clients on accounts and tax issues as required.
4. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about progress and maintaining regular contact.
5. Reviewing work completed by junior team members and resolving issues prior to submission.
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
7. Developing, retaining, and motivating junior staff members and assisting in the overall management of the practice's daily operations.
