Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day accounting requirements.
• Building strong client relationships and responding to queries in a professional and proactive manner.
• Reviewing accounts preparation work by junior team members and providing guidance and support.
• Preparing accounts for more complex clients and reviewing work prior to Partner sign-off.
• Assisting with information for client meetings and reviews.
• Mentoring and developing junior colleagues, providing technical assistance and feedback.
• Working with senior leadership to maintain high service standards and support firm growth.

The role of Accounts Supervisor will include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact for their day-to-day accounting requirements
• Building strong client relationships and responding to queries in a professional and proactive manner
• Reviewing accounts preparation work completed by junior team members and providing guidance and support where required
• Preparing accounts for more complex clients and reviewing work prior to Partner sign-off
• Assisting with the preparation of information for client meetings and reviews
• Mentoring and developing junior colleagues, providing technical assistance and constructive feedback
• Working closely with senior leadership to maintain high service standards and support the continued growth of the practice

About you

The successful Accounts Supervisor will have previous experience within an accountancy environment and be confident managing client relationships and overseeing a varied portfolio of work.

Whilst ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, applications are equally welcomed from experienced candidates who can demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach.

As an Accounts Supervisor, you'll be approachable, organised and comfortable working closely with both clients and colleagues. Experience reviewing accounts and supporting junior team members will be highly beneficial, alongside strong communication skills and a genuine desire to contribute to a positive team culture.
