Pro-Finance in Manchester is seeking an Accounts Senior to join a growing practice and lead on statutory accounts and tax work for a varied client portfolio. You will engage with clients, review junior work, and drive timely, accurate deliverables while supporting team development.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or finalist with practice experience.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Prepare corporation tax returns and directors' personal tax returns.
• Meet with clients to discuss financial information, accounts and business matters.
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure all accounts and tax returns are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
• Prepare reports and supporting documentation for senior management review.
• Mentor trainees and junior members of the team, supporting their development.
• Manage client workflows to ensure timely deliveries within budget.
• Resolve client queries and offer proactive support throughout the accounting process.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services where appropriate.
