Michael Page is partnering with a well-established accountancy practice in Burnley to appoint an Accounts Senior. You will prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, and draft tax computations and VAT returns while building strong client relationships.

• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA studies desirable.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Produce draft tax computations and VAT returns.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Review work completed by junior team members.
• Support and mentor more junior colleagues within the team.
• Ensure assignments are delivered accurately and on time.
