Job summary

Clark Wood Limited in Burnley seeks an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established practice. You will manage a varied client portfolio, prepare year-end accounts and support personal tax matters.

The ideal candidate is AAT/ATT qualified with general practice experience, capable of liaising with clients and HMRC, and delivering accurate work to deadlines. Full-time role with excellent development prospects and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• AAT/ATT qualified with general practice experience.
• Experience in managing a varied client portfolio and tax matters.
• Ability to liaise with clients and HMRC and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Complete self-assessment tax returns and draft tax computations.
• Prepare VAT returns and Capital Gains Tax returns.
• Liaise with clients and HMRC, handling queries professionally and efficiently.
• Manage assignments to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to the wider team.
