Xeinadin is recruiting a Senior/ Semi Senior Accountant in Sittingbourne for a hybrid role. You will prepare accounts, tax returns, management accounts, and VAT returns while reviewing work for portfolio managers to ensure high-quality service for clients.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. ACCA/ACA/AAT qualifications or progress toward them are preferred, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/AAT or qualified by experience.

Responsibilities

Description

The role of a Senior is to prepare accounts, tax returns, management accounts, VAT returns and review work for portfolio managers. They will represent Xeinadin to the client ensuring that the day to day is delivered ensuring a focus on innovation and the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the firm at networking events, and identifying opportunities to grow our business.
• Supervising and reviewing the work and delivery of junior team members.
• Providing training to junior colleagues and pastoral support when required.
• Ensuring completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frame.
• Build strong relationships with new and established clients.
• Planning, resourcing and structuring assignments to ensure work is performed to a high standard.
• Managing client expectations, arranging closing meetings to finalise accounts.
• Reviewing working papers completed by junior staff and finalising financial statements for review by a manager.
• Completion of daily timesheets.
