Autograph Recruitment in Bournemouth is seeking an Accounts Senior to join a well-established accounting practice. You will work closely with Managers and Directors across accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT and client support for owner‑managed businesses.

The role suits a part-qualified ACA/ACCA professional who is actively studying and keen to develop within practice. Salary £30,000–£40,000 DOE plus study support, with an office-based, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to five years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Must be ACA or ACCA part-qualified and actively studying.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing management accounts where required.
• Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Liaising with clients and building strong relationships.
• Working with cloud accounting software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and CCH.
• Supporting with year-end accounts and wider client portfolio work.
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
