Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. in Salisbury is seeking an Accounts Senior to join a successful accountancy practice.

You will prepare and review year-end accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and bookkeeping, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with managers and partners to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts preparation and taxation within an accountancy practice.
• ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous; part-qualified considered.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and be the main point of contact for accounting and tax needs.
• Complete VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments as required.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners to meet deadlines.

Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a highly-regarded and respected accountancy practice who are looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join the team in Salisbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountancy practice accountant to work with a varied portfolio of clients and become part of a successful and expanding team.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact for their accounting and taxation requirements
• Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments where required
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

The successful Accounts Senior will:

Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident across accounts preparation and taxation work.

ACA or ACCA qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are welcomed from part-qualified and qualified-by-experience candidates with the right level of accountancy practice experience.

You’ll be an excellent communicator, well organised and comfortable managing a varied workload whilst delivering a high standard of client service.
