Job summary

hireful is recruiting an Accounts Senior for an established accountancy practice in Henley-on-Thames, serving owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals and larger groups across diverse sectors. You will manage your own client portfolio and work closely with partners in a supportive, close-knit team.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified and at least part-qualified ACA or ACCA.
• At least 2 years experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Desirable: experience of CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Alphatax.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, and compute corporation tax.
• Handle bookkeeping and file VAT returns across all schemes.
• Produce accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients.
• Be the go-to contact for clients and support junior team members.

We are recruiting an Accounts Senior for an established, accountancy practice in Henley-on-Thames who look after owner-managed businesses, high net worth individuals and larger groups across a wide range of sectors. Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Well connected by rail and commutable from Reading, High Wycombe, Marlow, Central London, Caversham, Twyford, Maidenhead and Oxford .

Salary: up to £45,000 dependent on experience

Benefits : 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by one day each year post-qualified up to 28 days, alongside a pension, discretionary annual bonus, hybrid and flexible working with flexitime, full study support where required, an early 2.30pm Friday finish, corporate rewards, quarterly social events and free onsite parking.

The Role

• Prepare year end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, along with corporation tax computations and returns
• Handle bookkeeping and file monthly and quarterly VAT returns across all VAT schemes
• Produce accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts that your clients rely on
• Be the go-to contact for your clients, and help train and develop junior members of the team

About You

• AAT qualified and at least part-qualified ACA or ACCA
• At least 2 years experience working in an accountancy practice
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Desirable: experience of CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Alphatax
